Springfield Court - Lakeside Gwern y Steeple

Springfield Court Lakeside is an apartment on our property in Gwern y Steeple. It’s on the ground floor, so no stairs inside.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite, which is handy. There’s also a separate wet room.

You look out over our fields and the lake. There’s a patio with furniture if you want to sit outside. The parking is right outside.

It’s a 5 Star place, which means it’s well equipped and finished to a high standard. There’s Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. We provide all the bedding and towels.

The village is quiet. There’s a local pub a short walk away. You can fish in the lake or walk from the door.

Cardiff is about a 20-minute drive, so you can easily get into the city. The Glamorgan coast, like Barry Island or Southerndown, is about half an hour away.

For local walks and history, National Trust South Wales has good information. Visit Wales is useful for planning days out further afield.

We have another apartment here called Lakeview. You can book them together if you’re a larger group.

No pets, I’m afraid. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
