Barn Suite
Barn Suite is a single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. It's part of a converted barn on what used to be a farm. It's detached, so you're on your own. There's a pond right outside, with a little seating area.
It sleeps two. It's one big room with the bed, sitting area, and a small dining table all together. The kitchen is separate. The ceilings are high with old beams. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-fitted.
You're on the edge of Penn village. There's a pub a few minutes' walk away. You can start walks straight from the door into the Chilterns countryside. For a longer walk, the National Trust Chilterns site has good routes.
It's about half an hour's drive to Henley-on-Thames. You've also got Hughenden and West Wycombe Park nearby, both National Trust. The Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden is about fifteen minutes by car.
A train from Amersham gets you to London Marylebone in around forty minutes.
There's parking right outside. The place has a washing machine, TV, and bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
