Barn Suite Penn

Barn Suite is a converted barn on the edge of Penn village. It's detached, and you're on your own down a private driveway, next to a farmhouse. It's not a working farm, so it's quiet.

It's all on one level, which is handy. You walk in to a kitchen area. Through there is the main space, with the bed, a sitting area, and a dining table. The ceilings are high with old beams. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.

Outside, there's a patio with seating. It looks over a large pond. You get some good birds out there.

The village pub is about a five-minute walk up the lane. It serves food. For walking, you can just step out the door onto the Chilterns paths. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

If you want to drive out, you're about 20 minutes from the Thames at Marlow or Henley for riverside walks. There are several National Trust properties nearby, like Hughenden or West Wycombe Park. Roald Dahl's museum in Great Missenden is about 15 minutes away.

It's a good spot if you need to get into London. Amersham station is a short drive, and the train to Marylebone takes about 40 minutes.

Facilities wise: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and towels and bedding are included. There's space to store bikes if you bring them. You can bring up to three dogs.
