Limestone Hill Farmhouse
Limestone Hill Farmhouse is on our working farm just outside Tickhill. It's a big, detached stone house. It sleeps fourteen people in seven bedrooms. There are five bathrooms, so you shouldn't get queues.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is in good condition. It's been renovated recently. The kitchen is large, with a wood burner. There's a separate dining room, a snug, and another big sitting room. It's set up for groups.
Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are five more, including one with an en-suite shower and one with an en-suite bathroom. The ground-floor bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath.
Outside, there's a patio and a lawned garden with furniture, a pergola, and a firepit. There's space to park.
You're on the edge of the village. There's a local shop a short walk away for basics, and a pub that does food. The historic ruins of Tickhill Castle are nearby.
Doncaster is about six miles away. Sheffield is within a thirty-minute drive. The Peak District National Park is also about half an hour's drive for walks. Useful links: Peak District National Park and English Heritage - Tickhill Castle.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding. One well-behaved dog is allowed. A highchair is available. You can hire a hot tub separately, but you need to arrange that with the provider directly, it's not included.
