Cranberry Cottage Gansclet

Cranberry Cottage is out at Gansclet. It’s on our croft, so you're in the middle of fields, but it’s detached and you've got your own garden. The views are good, just hills.

It's all on one level, which is handy. Sleeps four, two bedrooms. One's a king size, the other has two singles. There's one good sized shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's properly done up and comfortable.

The living area is open plan. The kitchen's new and has everything you'd need. There’s a washing machine. The garden is fully fenced, which is good if you’re bringing dogs. You can park right outside.

The nearest village is Thrumster, about ten minutes in the car. It's got a shop and a pub. Wick is five miles away for bigger supermarkets, a few places to eat, and the Old Pulteney distillery if you fancy a tour.

You're well placed for the coast. It's about a fifteen minute drive to places like Sinclair's Bay or Noss Head for a walk. If you want to go further, John O'Groats is maybe forty minutes, and the ferry to Orkney is at John O'Groats too.
