Cranberry Cottage

Cranberry Cottage is ours. It's on our farm in Gansclet. The land you see from the windows is our croft. It's a single-storey place, so all on one level, which is handy. It's detached, so it's just you and the fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed, the other has two singles. There's one bathroom with a good shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a decent standard. It's clean, warm, and everything works.

The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, sofas at the other. The kitchen is big enough to cook in without getting in anyone's way. There's a Smart TV on the wall. The garden is fully fenced, mainly grass, and you park right outside the door.

You're welcome to bring up to two dogs. The fencing is secure. Just please keep them off the furniture.

It's very quiet here. The nearest proper village is Thrumster, about a mile and a half away. They've got a shop and a pub. For a bigger supermarket or more places to eat, you go into Wick. That's about five miles. Wick has a golf course, and you can visit the Old Pulteney distillery if that's your thing.

You're in Caithness, so the coast is close. Good for walks. Dunnet Head and John o' Groats are a drive away, but you can be at a beach in under half an hour. Further south, you've got the North Coast 500 route if you're touring.

Included in the price: all the electricity, bedding, towels, and there's a washing machine. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but you'd need to check the specific measurements if that's a requirement.
