Leys Barn
Leys Barn is near Building End. It's a single storey place, so everything's on one level. It was converted a while back, so it's not new, but it's done well. It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has just a shower.
It faces south, so it gets a lot of sun. There's a patio area at the back. The view is just fields and woods. Very quiet.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and living room are all together. Kitchen's fine, has what you need. Living room's comfortable, with a TV and some books. The bedrooms are down each end of the place, which gives a bit of privacy.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile and a half away. Good for an evening out if you don't want to cook.
For things to do, Cambridge is about half an hour's drive. You can see the sights or go punting. If you want a stately home, Wimpole Hall and Audley End are nearby. Good for walks as well. Useful sites are National Trust East of England and English Heritage East of England.
The coast is a bit further, maybe an hour or so to places like Mersea Island or Frinton.
You can bring one dog. Parking is right outside. There's a washing machine, wifi, and all the bedding and towels are included.
