Keepers Cottage Annexe is a homely one-bedroom property situated in the lovely village of North Luffenham in Rutland. Although it does have two steps to the entrance of the property they do have an handrail.
On entering the property you are welcomed by an open plan living/dining room, access to a beautiful country cottage garden and a large twin bedroom on the first floor, this is an ideal place to stay for couples and friends holidaying in this fantastic county. There is a great pub in the village and an abundance of walks from the doorstep, so you’ll soon get immersed into village life. There is an open park within a 2-minute walk, perfect for exercising pets.
This holiday cottage is only 2 miles from the sailing club, fishing centre and cycling centre at Rutland Water so there’s plenty to do whatever your interest. Rutland Water boasts 4200 acres of open countryside and nature reserves where you can enjoy bird watching, fishing, boat trips and an array of water sports. There is a great golf course in the area or for a bit of fun, why not try crazy golf?
Close to Uppingham, Oakham & Stamford where you’ll find an array of local facilities, local businesses of shops, cafés, tea rooms and restaurants. There are plenty of places to visit including Burghley House with its annual horse trials, 18 miles, Boughton House, Barnsdale Gardens, Sacrewell Farm, Rockingham Castle and Market towns slightly further afield including Oundle, Market Harborough and Melton Mowbray.
