The Barn Sarratt

The Barn is in Sarratt, Hertfordshire. It's a converted barn on our property. It used to be an outbuilding. It sleeps four, but it's all in one big open-plan room, so it's best for a couple or a small family.

We've just finished refurbishing it. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but because it's a barn conversion, the space is all one room upstairs. There's a proper bathroom on the ground floor.

It's very bright inside. The windows open wide and you look out over our garden towards the woods. There's no private garden for the Barn itself, but you can use the patio area opposite.

Inside, there's a kitchen area with an electric oven, hob, fridge, and a Nespresso machine. The living space has a sofa and a wall-mounted Smart TV. Upstairs is the sleeping area with two double beds.

Sarratt is quiet. The Plough pub is a short walk away. There are other good pubs nearby like the Bricklayers Arms. For a walk, Sarratt Bottom Nature Reserve is on the doorstep. The Chess Valley Walk is close by.

Rickmansworth Aquadrome is about a 15-minute drive. It's good for a stroll around the lakes. For something grander, you can visit Chenies Manor Gardens. The Grove hotel and golf course is about 10 minutes away by car.

If you need more to do, Watford is 20 minutes away. That's where the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour is. They get booked up far in advance, so plan ahead if that's your thing.

Facilities: WiFi, parking right outside, all bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
