The Dalmore Pod is in Alness, up in the Highlands. It's modern, a timber-lined pod that sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well set up.
The pod itself is compact, as you'd expect. There's a kitchenette, a double bed, and a Smart TV. Wi-Fi is included. Outside on the patio there's a hot spa bath. There's a six-foot fence around it so it's private. We provide robes and slippers for that.
Alness is a quiet town on the Cromarty Firth. The start of the North Coast 500 is right here. There are a couple of pubs on the High Street, about a ten-minute walk away. The town has shops, cafes, and takeaways if you need them.
If you're walking, the path up to the Fyrish Monument is good. It's about two and a half miles up, and the views over the Firth and Ben Wyvis are worth it. There's an 18-hole golf course a mile from the pod.
Invergordon, with its deep-water port, is three miles along the coast. Inverness is about a twenty-five minute drive if you want more shops or a day out. Loch Ness is roughly an hour's drive from here.
Facilities: parking on site, bedding and towels are included, there's a patio area. No pets.
