Yew Tree Farm is on the road through Regil village. It's a detached farm house so it's quiet and private.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is downstairs with a roll-top bath, the other upstairs has a shower. There's a proper wood burner in the living room, not a decorative one. It heats the place well.
It's a 16th century building, so the floors are a bit uneven in places and the stairs are steep. Being so old means you sometimes get the spiders and beetles that come with it. Outside, the garden's enclosed. You'll see squirrels and birds. I've seen badgers and the odd deer at the far end of the field early in the morning.
The kitchen's got what you need: dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. Parking is on the gravel right outside.
You're well placed for getting out. Chew Valley Lake is about ten minutes by car for fishing or a walk. Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills are about half an hour's drive for bigger walks. Wells and its cathedral are about twenty minutes away. Glastonbury Tor is roughly the same.
If you want a city day, Bristol is half an hour one way and Bath is about forty minutes the other way. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is twenty-five minutes.
One well-behaved dog is allowed. The garden is fully enclosed but check for gaps if your dog is a determined escape artist.
