This is Church View, in Barmby on the Marsh. It's a detached cottage, right opposite the village church as the name suggests.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs. We do accept up to two pets.
Inside, the back of the house is pretty much one big kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has an island and French doors that go out to the garden. There's a wood burner in the front living room for colder nights. The stairs are standard, not too steep.
The village is quiet. There's a local pub about a ten minute walk away. Selby is about four miles for bigger shops.
York is the main draw for most people. It's about a forty minute drive. You've got the Minster, the Shambles, the National Railway Museum, the lot. It's a good day out.
For local walks, the Yorkshire Wolds are about half an hour's drive north. The coast at Spurn Point is a bit further, maybe fifty minutes.
In terms of what's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's also bicycle storage. The entrance and the main downstairs rooms are step-free.
If you're planning trips, these sites are useful: York Minster, National Railway Museum, and Welcome to Yorkshire for general ideas.
