Sunnyside
Sunnyside is a terraced cottage in New Galloway. It's a small village. The cottage is on the sunny side of the street, which is nice.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything was modernised a couple of years ago. The main thing is the wood burning stove in the living room. It's good to have on after a damp day out.
The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for one dog. There's a washing machine, wifi, and towels are included.
New Galloway is quiet. There's a good village shop for basics and a couple of coffee places. The Catstrand arts centre is here too, they have films and events.
You're right on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. It's about a five minute drive to the proper forest. The night skies are very dark up there, if you're into that. There are walking trails and two of the 7Stanes mountain bike trails, Kirroughtree and Glentrool, are close by.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. There are some good sandy beaches and harbour villages like Kirkcudbright to walk around.
