Limber Wold House is up here in Great Limber. It’s a detached house, sat on the edge of a working farm. The views are good, just open fields. It’s quiet.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well kitted out and comfortable.
You get a decent-sized garden, fully enclosed. There’s a patio area too.
Inside, there’s a wood-burning stove in the living room. It heats the place up nicely. All the bedding and towels are included.
Facilities are pretty straightforward: Wi-Fi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. There’s a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local area is good for walking. You’re on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are public footpaths through the woods just a few minutes walk from the door.
The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Binbrook, so you’ll need a car. For the coast, it’s about a 25-minute drive to Cleethorpes. That’s a traditional seaside town with a long beach.
Market Rasen Racecourse is about a 15-minute drive. Lincoln, with the cathedral, is around 40 minutes. The Humber Bridge is about 25 minutes north. Walking across it gives you a good view of the estuary.
