Pear Tree Cottage Enderby

This is Pear Tree Cottage. It's in Enderby, which is just outside Leicester. It's on the main road in the old bit of the village.

The cottage is for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's been done up to a good standard, everything works. It's laid out over three floors. The kitchen's at the back on the ground floor, then you go down a half level to the dining room, then down again to the living room at the front. The bedroom and bathroom are up on the first floor.

There's a thatched pub right next door. They do food. An Italian restaurant and some local shops are a couple of minutes' walk away. The M1 and M69 motorways are really close, so it's a good spot if you're visiting the area or if you're here on business.

Leicester city centre is about five miles away. They've got the King Richard III visitor centre and the National Space Centre there. For walks, the Everards Meadows are a short drive. You can hire bikes there if you want to follow the old railway path.

Further out, Rutland Water is about a 40 minute drive if you fancy a walk or some birdwatching by the reservoir.

In the cottage you've got a washing machine, WiFi, a smart TV, and parking for one car on the drive. All the bedding and towels are provided. No pets, sorry.
