Walnut Tree Barn
Walnut Tree Barn is just outside Barnham in Suffolk. It's a detached converted barn. Sleeps ten, four bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite shower room. One room is a family room with a king bed and bunk beds, which is handy if you've got young kids.
The main living area is open plan. Big sofas, a wood burner, a large TV. Bi-fold doors open right out onto the terrace. The kitchen is well set up, with a big table and an island.
Outside, there's a covered terrace with a dining table, lounge sofas, and a large hot tub. There's also a separate seating area with a fire pit. The whole place is on one level, with wide doorways. No steps.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished and everything's in good order. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
There's a local pub about two and a half miles away. They do food. For a bigger shop or a day out, Bury St Edmunds is about nine miles away. It's a proper market town with an abbey, a cathedral, shops, and plenty of places to eat.
About a twenty minute drive north, you've got Thetford Forest. Good for walks, cycling, and they have a Go Ape. In the other direction, Newmarket is about half an hour away if you're interested in horse racing.
Cambridge, Norwich, and the Suffolk coast are all within about an hour's drive if you fancy exploring further.
