Seas the day is a unique, tastefully finished, one of a kind property inside and out. Famed for its deserted white sand beaches which stretch on for miles, this Island is the perfect romantic getaway for couples looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
As you enter the front door, you arrive at the open plan living/kitchen area which is a bright and airy space, with colourful and eye-catching local artwork carefully selected to reflect the area and the vibrant array of sea life nearby. Next door is the double bedroom, with a luxury double bed and plenty storage for your belongings during your stay. The bathroom has a walk-in cubicle shower and the owner has even provided some bath robes for your added comfort during your stay.
The beautiful beaches and turquoise waters are within easy reach 2 minutes by car or a 10-minute walk, and with them being so vast you’re often guaranteed to have it all to yourself! For the avid bird watchers amongst us, the area surrounding Seas the Day had over 50 species of rare nesting bird species recorded last year including the corncrake, snipe, lapwing, corn bunting, skylark, redshank and terns.
North Uist is adjoined to the South Uist by one of the many causeways, allowing you to access most places with much ease as far as the Isle of Eriskay from where you can take boat trips to Barra, St Kilda, and wildlife trips where you can spot schools of dolphins, mink whales, seals, eagles to name but a few! Outdoor activities are plentiful with the coast to the front even being popular with kite surfers. But for those who want something a little more relaxed, options for paddle-boarding, sea kayaking, wild swimming, cycling, fishing and long walks are plentiful. To appreciate Seas the Day you really do need to see it with your own eyes! For those looking for something different that stands out from the crowd, look no further, you won’t be disappointed.
