The Little Furze
The Little Furze is our annexe. It's attached to our house but has its own front door. You'll be on your own.
It's all on one level, which is good if stairs are tricky. We redid it in 2020, so the kitchen and bathroom are new. It's cleaner and brighter than it used to be. It sleeps two in the bedroom. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room, but it's a sofa bed, so it's better for kids really.
You've got a little private patio out the back with a table and chairs. You're also welcome to use our main garden, which is much bigger, if you fancy it.
We're down a gravel drive. There's plenty of parking. You can pull up right next to your door.
The location is quiet. It's just fields around here. But you're right between Stonehenge and Avebury. Both are about a fifteen minute drive. Stonehenge you book through English Heritage. Avebury is free to walk around and run by the National Trust.
Marlborough's the nearest proper town, about ten minutes away. Good for a wander and a coffee. Salisbury, Bath and Bristol are all within half an hour or so if you want a city day. Longleat is about twenty-five minutes drive.
Facilities wise, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
