Situated in a semi-rural location there are lots of scenic walks and cycling routes to be explored.

The Chapel offers ample off-road parking making this ideally suited for the larger family or group of friends looking to spend quality time together. Locally there is an abundance of activities from horse riding, golf, fishing and a variety of beaches to enjoy within easy reach.

The picturesque village of Great Bentley is a short drive with its array of amenities and delicious eateries. Popular Frinton-on-Sea with its beautiful stretch of golden sand is just a 20-minute drive. For something a little less laid back, the oldest recorded town of Colchester is under 10 miles away with an extensive list of attractions including Colchester Zoo, Colchester Castle, live theatre as well as shopping, bars and restaurants to meet all tastes!

Don’t forget to check out Dedham Vale, the only designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Essex. Dedham Vale contains numerous scenes which inspired famous English artists including 19th century landscape painter John Constable, 18th century artist Thomas Gainsborough and 20th century equestrian artist Sir Alfred Munnings.
