Windmill Cottage is in Breadsall Hill Top, near Derby. It’s a stone semi-detached cottage. You get a garden with a patio that looks out over fields.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom downstairs. It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are original, so they’re a bit steeper and narrower than modern ones.
The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher. The living room is comfortable with a TV. The bathroom is on the ground floor.
There’s a local pub down the road. The village is quiet. You’re about ten minutes by car from Derby city centre if you need shops or want to go out.
For walking, you’re right on the edge of the Peak District. You can be in the national park in about fifteen minutes by car. Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are both within half an hour. There are several golf courses very close by.
Facilities: there’s on-site parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom is on the ground floor and the rest is over two floors with stairs.
