Jayne Cottage
Jayne Cottage is out in Urgha, about a mile and a half past Tarbert on Harris. It's a stand-alone studio, built for two. It's on one level.
You've got your own bit of garden out the front. The main thing is the view. The big window looks straight out over the loch. It's quiet.
Inside it's open plan, so the bed, sitting area and kitchen are all in one room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a separate shower room.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right next to the cottage.
Tarbert is a couple of minutes in the car. That's where the shops are, a post office, a couple of hotels that do food, and the ferry comes in from Uig. The famous Harris Distillery is there too.
The beaches on the west side, like Luskentyre, are about a 20 minute drive. The roads are single track. Stornoway on Lewis is just over half an hour away if you need a bigger supermarket or more shops.
