River Bay
River Bay is a terraced cottage at the edge of Cardiff Bay in Penarth. It's a townhouse, so there are neighbours. You get the patio at the back for yourselves. It's got a nice view across the river to the hills.
The house sleeps six. Two proper bedrooms (both doubles) and one bathroom upstairs. The third bed is a sofa bed in the living room downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after, with decent things like a proper sound system and a dishwasher. There are a lot of toys and books left there for guests.
The stairs are typical for a house like this. They're fine, but they turn a corner and are a bit steeper on the last flight up to the bedrooms.
You're a short walk from the bay itself and the river path. For the beach, you drive. Penarth beach and the pier are about ten minutes one way, Barry Island about ten minutes the other. Cardiff city centre is a fifteen minute drive or you can get the train from Penarth station.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, fast wi-fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the front. Dogs aren't allowed.
