Acres View
Acres View is a bungalow in Caythorpe. It's detached and sits behind our place, which used to be a barn. You get a clear view over the fields from the back.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The pub is next door, about fifty yards. They do food. A shop is a mile away. You can pick up the train at Lowdham station, which is also about a mile, and that goes straight into Nottingham.
A public footpath starts right opposite the gate. You can walk from here. The River Trent is close by if you want to fish.
Nottingham is about nine miles. That's where the shops and the main attractions are. Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak are about half an hour's drive. The Peak District National Park is roughly forty minutes if you go towards the south.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
