Reflections is in Surfleet Seas End. It's in Lincolnshire, on the River Glen. You can sit and watch the river from the living room.
It's a detached house. Two bedrooms, sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been refurbished recently.
There's a decking area and garden right by the river. If you like fishing, you can fish from your own spot there. You cannot bring fishing tackle or bait inside the cottage, though. The owner mentioned that. Electric bike batteries aren't allowed in any building either, not even the bike store.
There's a pub about a mile away that does food. For shops, Spalding is about five miles away. You can get the Spalding Water Taxi there to the Springfields Outlet. It's a 30 minute trip on the river.
It's a good base for driving to places. Stamford, home of the Burghley Horse Trials, is about a half hour drive. Boston's about the same. You can get into Norfolk for days out quite easily from here.
One thing to know: a grey seal comes up the river every few days over the sea gates. It's been eating some of the fish. The owner says there's still plenty left for fishing, but it's there.
The owner lives next door, which is handy if you need a tip about the area.
Facilities: there's parking on site, a dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding is included. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There's bicycle storage. Pets aren't allowed.
