Reflections

It's called Reflections. It's in Surfleet Seas End, Lincolnshire. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's good if stairs are a problem.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been refurbished, so it's clean and modern inside.

The main thing is the river. It's right on the River Glen. You get ducks and swans going past. The living room looks straight out onto it. There's a garden and a deck. If you like fishing, you can fish from your own garden. The owner says you don't need a license for that bit.

The owner lives next door. They're there if you need anything or have questions about the area.

There's a pub about 200 yards away. It does food. There's a village shop for basics about the same distance. For a bigger shop, Spalding is about five and a half miles away. They've got supermarkets. You can get a water taxi from Spalding to the Springfields outlet, which is a different way to get about.

It's a good base for driving to places. Stamford is about half an hour. That's where the Burghley Horse Trials are. Boston is about twenty minutes. If you fancy the coast, you can get to Norfolk in under an hour. The Wash and places like Holkham are over that way.

For facilities: there's parking right there, a dishwasher, WiFi, and bike storage if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
