Skene House Court is an apartment within Skene House, which is a castle near Lyne of Skene. It's your part of the building, so it's private. You get the grounds around it to yourselves. The views are over fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The living room has tall castle windows and a wood burner. There's a separate TV room as well.
The kitchen is large and has what you need. The floors are tiled or herringbone wood, with underfloor heating. It's a modern fit inside an old building. You'll see castle features like turret spaces. The stairs are fine, typical for the place.
You're about two miles from the nearest pub that does food. The shop is five miles. Aberdeen is roughly half an hour's drive for restaurants, shops, or the theatre.
You're right for Deeside. For walking, you can start from the door. The coast with good beaches, like at Stonehaven, is about a 25 minute drive. If you like castles, there are a lot of them around here. For golf, Royal Aberdeen is the famous one. The Walkhighlands site is useful for routes. Speyside and its whisky distilleries are about an hour and a half west.
Facilities: Underfloor heating, wood burner, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. No pets.
