Barjols Cottage is in Lamington. That's a village near Biggar in Lanarkshire. It's semi-detached.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so things are in decent order.
It's an older cottage, so the ceilings are a bit low in places. Mind your head. The garden is enclosed. It's a nice spot to sit out in.
There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave you a bit of fuel to get started. The kitchen has what you need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The nearest pub is about six miles away in Wiston. The shop is in Biggar, which is about six and a half miles. You'll want a car.
It's very handy for the M74. You can get to Glasgow in under an hour. Edinburgh is about the same. It's a good base if you want to explore.
Biggar itself is worth a visit. There's a museum, some nice walks. The local countryside is good for fishing. For bigger days out, the Scottish Borders are close by. You're not far from the start of the Southern Upland Way for walking.
The cottage is pet friendly. You can bring two dogs.
