Rimmers Farmhouse is in King's Green, near Clows Top. It’s a detached farmhouse next to our place. The back looks onto some converted barns, but the front and main windows have a view over open fields.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has its own ensuite. It’s got a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and well equipped.
The kitchen has an electric Aga. It also has a separate electric steam cooker and a plate warmer. There’s a wood burner in the living room. The stairs are fairly typical for an old farmhouse, so mind your head in a couple of spots.
There’s a fully enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. It’s secure for dogs and children. We allow one well-behaved pet. All the bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside.
The nearest shop and pub are about two and a half miles away in Clows Top. The pub does food.
You’re well placed to get out and about. The Malvern Hills are close for walking. Worcester is about half an hour’s drive, with the cathedral and the river. Croome is near there too. For something different, the Shelsley Hill Climb, which is the world’s oldest hill climb track, is just down the road.
If you fancy a day out, you can get to the Shropshire Hills, Hereford, or the edges of the Cotswolds all within about forty minutes. There’s fishing available locally if you arrange it in advance.
