Brook Lodge is a detached cottage in Wroot, which is a village in North Lincolnshire. It's quiet, down a lane opposite a farm. It's in the countryside proper, surrounded by fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-kept. The living space is open plan.
There's a garden, and it's fully enclosed. It overlooks our garden next door, which we keep tidy. You've got a patio area and a BBQ.
Wroot itself has a shop and a pub about a five minute walk away. The pub does food. For other things, you'll need to drive.
Doncaster is the nearest proper town, about a 20 minute drive. That's where the racecourse and the airport are. The motorway network is close, so getting around is easy.
Local activities include fishing and there are golf courses nearby. For walking, it's all flat farmland and country lanes around here. For something more structured, the National Trust Yorkshire sites like Nostell or the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust reserves are within about 30 to 40 minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking right by the cottage. No pets, sorry.
