Curlew Barn Guy's Head

Curlew Barn is out near Guy's Head in Lincolnshire. It's a converted property, it used to be part of a bigger building. It's just you and the fields out here.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well-finished and everything's in good order. The description mentions the stairs: they are open-tread and a bit steep. Fine for most, just watch your step.

You're properly in the countryside. The garden's enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog, we take one pet. There's a patio area and a barbecue. Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a woodburner. It's got all the things you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included.

The nearest shop and pub is in Sutton Bridge, about two miles away. They've got the basics. There's a competition-standard tennis court on the grounds if you fancy a game.

For the coast, it's about a fifteen-minute drive to places like Holbeach St Matthew or longer beaches like Gibraltar Point. You can be in King's Lynn in under half an hour for a bigger town. The Wash itself is right there for walking and birdwatching.
