The Barn
The Barn is in Gringley on the Hill. It's a detached building in our garden, next to the Chesterfield canal. It looks like a barn because it was one.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main room is upstairs. We did that so you get a view over the fields.
There's a pub a mile away. The nearest shop is four miles, so you'll want to bring supplies or drive to get them.
You can fish in the canal if you get a permit. There's a wood burning stove for colder nights, and a BBQ and garden furniture outside. We've included WiFi, a TV, and parking.
It's a good spot for seeing a lot of the Midlands. Gainsborough Old Hall is about six miles away. You're not far from the National Trust property there. Lincoln and York are both about an hour's drive if you fancy a day out. It's Pilgrim Father country around here too, if that's of interest.
We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
