The Barn Gringley on the Hill

The Barn is on our land, next to our house. It's a converted brick barn. It's detached so you've got your own space. We're right by the Chesterfield Canal. It's quiet here.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom downstairs. The main living area is upstairs. We did that so you get the view over the fields from the big windows. It's a nice room to sit in. It's got a wood burner too.

It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The wifi works. There's parking right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but it's not massive. There's a patio with a barbecue. The canal path is right there for walks.

The nearest pub is a mile away in the village, Gringley on the Hill. It's a proper walk, about twenty minutes. For a supermarket, you'll need to drive to Retford or Gainsborough, that's about ten minutes.

Location wise, you're central here. Lincoln is about forty minutes drive. York is just over an hour. It's good for history. We're on the Mayflower Trail. Gainsborough Old Hall is close and worth a look. The Chesterfield Canal is good for a stroll. You can fish in the canal but you need a permit from the club.

Included in the rent: all the bedding and towels, electricity, a travel cot and highchair if needed. There's a washing machine. Bikes can be stored round the back.
