Island Views
Island Views is an apartment near Ulva Ferry on Mull. It's attached to the main house where we live. We did it up a few years back.
It's for two people only. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's compact, but it's been done nicely. The stairs up to the sleeping area are quite narrow and steep, just so you know.
The big thing is the view. The patio doors look straight out over the water to the Isle of Ulva. You get your own bit of decking out there. There's a wood burner for the evenings.
We're in a National Scenic Area. It's quiet. You'll see eagles and deer. We run wildlife tours next door if you want to book something.
From the doorstep, you can walk down to Ulva Ferry. The little passenger ferry runs in summer. You can go across to Ulva for walking, or get on a boat trip to places like Staffa. There's a good cafe on Ulva.
For shops, you need to drive to Salen, about 20 minutes. There's a restaurant about four miles north that's very good. Tobermory is about 40 minutes by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking. The shower is walk-in and the entrance is step-free. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
