Little Willows is my place in Naphill. It's a brick and flint cottage, end of a row, with our house next door. You'll have the cottage to yourself plus the patio area out front.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, a shower room and the main living space is downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out and comfortable. The ceiling in the shower room is low, because it's under the eaves. Someone quite tall would need to mind their head. The staircase is open, so you can see through from the ground floor up to the bedroom.
The local shop is about a five minute walk. The pub, and a restaurant, are about the same distance down the road. The bus stops nearby if you need it.
You're right on the edge of the Chilterns here, so it's good walking country. The Ridgeway path is close by. For a day out, Hughenden Manor is nearby and it's a National Trust property. Further afield, places like Windsor or Henley-on-Thames are about half an hour by car. The train from High Wycombe gets to London Marylebone in under half an hour if you fancy that.
Inside, it's a compact space. The underfloor heating downstairs works well. The kitchen is built into what looks like a big larder unit. There's a TV, WiFi, and your own parking space. There's also an electric vehicle charger if you need it. Bedding and towels are included.
