Parc House is in Abertysswg, near Rhymney in the South Wales valleys. It's a big converted chapel. It sleeps up to fourteen people, in five bedrooms, with three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's well-equipped. It's detached, so no neighbours attached.
The space is mainly on two floors. Being a chapel conversion, the ceilings are high in the main living area. There's a large lockable shed out back for bikes, and an outdoor tap to clean them off.
You're in the valleys here, so it's good for walking straight from the door. For mountain biking, you're very close to Afan Forest Park, which is known for its trails. Bike Park Wales is about twenty minutes' drive away.
Other things nearby include Zip World Tower at the old Tower Colliery site, and the waterfalls around the Vale of Neath. The Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour's drive for proper hiking. Margam Country Park is also within half an hour.
Further out, you can get to the Gower coast, Swansea, or Cardiff in under an hour if you fancy a day trip.
There's a shop a few minutes' walk away. The nearest pub and restaurant are about a mile away.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. It's family friendly, we provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs.
