Pettingalls Farm Cottage

Pettingalls Farm Cottage is near Deopham Green, Norfolk. It's a detached single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. It sleeps two people in one bedroom.

The cottage is old, from the 1800s. You can see the original floorboards in places and there's an old fireplace in the living room. It's been done up inside to be comfortable. There's a roll-top bath. Outside, there's a patio with lavender around it and about an acre of garden, so it's very quiet.

The listing says it's 4 Star and 'Luxury'. It's nice, but I'd say it's more comfortable and clean than overly fancy. It's all wheelchair accessible from the parking area to the front door and through the main rooms.

In terms of things to do nearby, Deopham Green Airfield is just up the road. It's an old WWII airfield with a memorial. The local villages, Hingham and Wymondham, have shops and places to eat. Norwich is about a 25-minute drive for a proper day out; it's a city with a cathedral, castle, and lots of shops. The Visit Norwich site has details.

The Norfolk coast is roughly an hour away by car. That gets you to places like Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, or Cromer. The Broads are closer, about 40 minutes to Wroxham.

For facilities: it has a woodburning stove, WiFi, TV, BBQ, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. It's listed as having accessible features and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. No pets.
