The Stables is our converted barn out at Wells-In-The-Field Farm, in Freefolk. It's detached. You're on your own down here. We live in the farmhouse up the track.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are downstairs and each has its own bathroom. One of the beds can be split into two singles if that's better for you.
The living area is upstairs. That was the best way to get the view. You look out over the fields. It's bright up there with the skylights.
You get the back garden to yourselves. It's fenced in, so it's secure for dogs or kids. There's a patio with a table and chairs. We've also got a tennis court on the farm. It's Astroturf. If you want to use it, just let us know and we'll book you a slot.
Access is via a farm track. It's a bit bumpy but fine for normal cars. Once you're here, you can walk straight out into the countryside from the gate. The pub is about 500 yards away, across our field. It does food.
The nearest shop is about a mile away, in Whitchurch. Whitchurch is a small town. It's got the basics and a train station with links to London.
You can get to the National Trust's Whitchurch Silk Mill in about ten minutes by car. The Bombay Sapphire distillery is just down the road at Laverstoke Mill, maybe half a mile. You'll need to book a tour.
For a day out, Winchester is about half an hour's drive. That's where the cathedral is. The New Forest is about the same drive the other way, towards the south.
Facilities are all included. There's Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
