Adjacent to the owner’s home, they lie just 5 minutes from the A1, making it easy to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Park. A little further north, picturesque County Durham is easily accessible, as well as the spa town of Harrogate, or the historic city of York. There are plenty of attractions, including The Forbidden Corner, a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and follies set in 4-acre gardens; Big Sheep and Little Cow Farm, a family-run farm visitor centre in Bedale, offering hands-on farm experience for children and adults; and Flamingo Land and Lightwater Valley theme parks. If you prefer historic sights, you’ll love Mount Grace Priory, Studley Royal, Fountains Abbey and Ripon Spa Gardens. Beach 40 miles. Farm shop 400 yards, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
