Achd is in Drumbeg in the Scottish Highlands. It's a detached croft cottage, set on its own, with a fenced garden around it.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but not fancy. The ceilings slope a bit upstairs, and the bedroom walls are wood panelled. It feels solid.
The garden is yours. There's parking right there on the gravel.
The local shop and pub are about half a mile away, a ten minute walk. The pub does food. It's a working farm area, so you'll see sheep about.
The coast is very close. You can walk down to the sea in a few minutes. For a good beach, Achmelvich is a short drive and it's lovely sand. If you want a bigger walk, Handa Island isn't far, famous for seabirds.
For walking inland, there are several Munros within reasonable driving distance. You've got the Eas a' Chual Aluinn waterfall to see, which is one of Britain's highest. Further up the coast, the beach at Sandwood Bay is spectacular but it's a proper walk in from the road.
Inside, it's got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
