Court Place is a farmhouse split in two, we've got the bigger half. It's on the edge of Porlock. The garden is good, well kept, and you get a clear view over to the Bristol Channel.
It sleeps eleven, so it's a big place. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The rooms are all very spacious, which is the main thing when you've got a crowd.
The stairs are a bit steep. It's an old house.
The pub is 100 yards away, a proper local. The shop is 200 yards. Minehead is about ten minutes by car if you need a bigger supermarket. There's parking right here.
You're on the edge of Exmoor, so you can walk straight out into it. The Coastal Path is close by too. Dunster Castle is about fifteen minutes drive. The West Somerset Railway is in Minehead, which is fun if you like steam trains. The beaches over in North Devon, like Porlock Weir or Minehead beach, are within half an hour.
It says two families, and that's about right. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
