Perfect for guests who enjoy a walking or cycling holiday as there are numerous established public footpaths, walks and cycle paths that lead from the area and out into the beautiful scenery of County Durham. The picturesque hills, valleys and dales of Teesdale and Weardale are both between a 20 and 30-minute drive away, where walkers will find themselves surrounded by some of the most fabulous scenery and countryside that County Durham has to offer. Along the way there are many lovely villages including Stanhope, Killhope, Frosterley, Tow Law and Wolsingham.
