Covert Cottage
Covert Cottage is in Knettishall, Suffolk. It's a detached cottage that sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is next to our house, but you get your own space. You're welcome to use our big garden too, it's about an acre and a half. It's very quiet here, mostly fields and trees.
Inside it's all on the ground floor, which is handy. There's no step into the shower, and there's a seat in there if you need it. It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
The nearest shops and pubs are in the villages about three and a half miles away. Diss and Thetford are the main towns, they're about a 10 or 15 minute drive.
Knettishall Heath Country Park is just down the road, great for walks. The National Trust looks after it. Redgrave and Lopham Fen is close by too if you like that sort of landscape.
Within half an hour you've got Banham Zoo, Bressingham Gardens with the steam engines, and the English whisky distillery if that's your thing. Thetford Forest is good for cycling.
It's a proper countryside spot. If you want a quiet break somewhere simple, it does the job.
