Tornahatnach
This is Tornahatnach. It's a cottage on the Glenkindie Estate near Alford.
It's a detached stone cottage from the 1800s. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms which is handy. You get the whole place and your own garden. It's on a private track, so you're properly in the middle of the estate. You'll see farm vehicles going about their business.
The inside is spacious. It's got a woodburning stove, TV, wifi, all the basics like a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
You can bring one dog. There's a stairgate if you need it.
The location is quiet. You're right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. The walking from the door is good. If you want to drive, there's a lot within half an hour. Alford has shops and places to eat. The Lecht ski centre is about a 25 minute drive for winter sports. For castles, you've got Kildrummy Castle Gardens nearby, and Balmoral and other National Trust for Scotland places on Royal Deeside are within easy reach.
A couple of other cottages on the estate, Brow Cottage and Home Farm Cottage, are a short walk away. You can book them together if you've got a bigger group.
