Fasgadh Cottage

This spacious cottage, located just yards from the edge of the loch, has a lovely decked area in which to sit, relax and enjoy the views over the loch and the hills beyond.

Port Appin has a superb seafood restaurant and a well-stocked village shop. Ferries frequently depart from here and travel across to Lismore, a wonderfully historic island with many ruins to explore, including two 13th-century castles and a broch .

The area is famed for its natural rugged beauty and abundant wildlife including red deer, pine marten, wild cat and otters. Bird life including the magnificent golden eagle and sea eagle, and marine life are also in evidence and porpoises are regularly spotted. Wildlife tours both on sea and land are available in the area.

Fort William and Oban are both close by as is the famous Glencoe, a truly scenic glen. Its location in this most attractive area of the Highlands means that it is well-placed to take advantage of the many leisure and pleasure activities which the area has to offer. Beach 21 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
