Staffin

You're right in the village. The shops are a couple of minutes' walk one way, the pubs are a couple of minutes the other. They're both handy.
This area used to be the border between Scotland and England. Now it's just quiet. The Liddle Valley is nice for a walk. If you're into mountain biking, you're on the Seven Stanes route. There's a music festival here in early summer with ceilidhs and concerts.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can park right outside.
If you want to go further out, Kielder Water & Forest Park is about a 25 minute drive north. Hadrian's Wall, like Housesteads Fort, is about a 50 minute drive south into England.
