Yew Tree Cottage

Yew Tree Cottage is in Moulsoe, which is a small village just outside Newport Pagnell. It's a thatched place and it's listed, so it's over three hundred years old. It sleeps twelve, which makes it good for big families or groups.

It's got six bedrooms and three bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-equipped, but it is an old building. The floors slope in places and some of the doorways are low. Two of the bedroom doors are only about four feet high. You do have to mind your head. The stairs are mentioned as being open and steep, so just be aware of that.

There's a big fireplace in the main sitting room and an open fire in the second one. The kitchen has what you'll need. Outside, there's a garden with a bit of a play area for children. You can bring up to two dogs.

The village pub is about half a mile away. The nearest shop is a couple of miles in Newport Pagnell. Milton Keynes is about five miles away for bigger shops and the train station.

For things to do, Gulliver's Land theme park is very close. Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey are both within about half an hour's drive. Silverstone is a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes depending on traffic. If you're into walking, the area around here is quite nice for it.

In terms of what's here, it's all the usual stuff: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking for a few cars, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
