Laundry Cottage

This is Laundry Cottage. It's a small place, just for two people. My sister and I rent it out now.

It's detached, so you're on your own. It's on our family's hill farm in Glen Moriston. The river is right there, just a few yards from the front door. You'll see red squirrels and hear deer at night if you're lucky. The fishing is free. Catch and release, of course.

It's one bedroom and one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's clean and warm. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher, which you'll probably want because the nearest proper shop is about 15 miles away in Invermoriston. The pub is 10 miles, so you'll be driving.

You can walk straight out from the cottage. There are farm tracks and paths by the river. You won't see many people. Fort Augustus is a 20 minute drive. You can see the Caledonian Canal there, and get a boat trip on Loch Ness if you want. Inverness is about 40 minutes away.

It's a good spot if you want to go to the Isle of Skye. You can drive there in under an hour. Fort William is about an hour in the other direction. It's quiet here. Really quiet. That's the main thing.

You get a private bit of garden. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's Wi-Fi, but the signal can be patchy because of the hills. That's just how it is.
