Alfie's Barn is a converted barn from the 1700s. It's in our garden here in Ambrosden, so you'll see us about sometimes. The building is detached and looks out over the fields.
It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is helpful. It has a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and it's well equipped.
The local shop and the pub are a few minutes' walk down the lane. The pub serves food.
You're well placed for getting around. Bicester is about ten minutes away by car if you need shops or the outlet village. Oxford is about twenty minutes' drive. That's where the main university colleges and museums like the Ashmolean are. Further afield, you can get to places like Stratford-upon-Avon or Birmingham in around an hour.
The barn has an enclosed patio garden. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for colder nights, and the usual things like a dishwasher, washing machine, and wifi. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right next to the barn.
