Cowshot Barn Sheet's Heath

Cowshot Barn is a converted barn on our property in Surrey. It's for two people. We live in the main house, which is old, but the barn is a new building. It's detached and you have your own space.

It's one big room downstairs with the kitchen and sitting area, and then the bedroom is up on a mezzanine. The stairs are oak and quite open, so not ideal if you have trouble with steps. The bed is very large. It was made from some of the old barn beams.

The place is comfortable and quiet. It's set back from the road on a few acres of land. There's a stream at the bottom of the field. You're welcome to walk around.

It's a rural spot but not remote. The M3 is about five minutes away by car, which makes getting around straightforward. You can be at a train station in ten minutes and in London in just over half an hour. Heathrow airport is about 45 minutes by car.

For local walks, you have the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty nearby. The National Trust's Hindhead Commons and the Devil's Punch Bowl is about a 15-minute drive and good for a proper walk. Farnham has the castle and is about a 20-minute drive.

Facilities are all there: parking, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and towels are included. There's no pets allowed.
