The Coach House is in Southampton, but on a quiet private road off Bassett Avenue. It's what it says it is: the old coach house and stables for the main house. It's detached, so it's just you in there. The garden around it is yours to use.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's all on one level, which is handy. There are a couple of grab rails in the bathroom, just so you know.
The main room is an interesting shape, with windows on a few sides. It feels bright and you look out into the garden. It's not huge, but it's fine for three people.
Location is the main thing. You're two minutes from the junction for the M27 and M3, so getting around is very easy. The New Forest is about a ten-minute drive that way. Winchester is about twenty minutes the other way.
For a day out, you've got the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth with the ships, which is about forty minutes. Beaulieu Motor Museum is in the New Forest. Southampton Water is close if you like watching the big ships and yachts. Lepe Beach is on the Solent, about half an hour's drive.
There's a small shop a few minutes' walk away. The pub is about a ten-minute walk. They do food.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, parking right outside, and a travel cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
