Grange Farm Cottage
Grange Farm Cottage is near Spaunton. It's a detached 16th century barn conversion. Really quiet, set back from the road. It sleeps two. There's one bedroom and one bathroom.
It's got a four star rating. It's in good condition, everything works properly. There's a washing machine, wifi, and an enclosed garden with a patio area. You can see stars at night out here, no streetlights.
The kitchen, living and dining area is all open plan. The stairs going up to the bedroom are quite steep. We keep a stairgate and a cot here if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed, which is handy.
The local pub is about three quarters of a mile away. They do food. Kirkbymoorside is a five minute drive for a small supermarket and things. Pickering and Helmsley are about twenty minutes each. Good for shops, cafes, and Helmsley has a castle.
You're right in the North York Moors National Park. The walking from the door is excellent. For a day out, Whitby is about forty minutes by car. Castle Howard and Rievaulx Abbey are both within half an hour. If you're here around Christmas, we put up a tree and some decorations.
There's parking right outside the cottage. All bedding and towels are included.
